Much Ado About Nothingness

Sometimes the most inane topics give us the most grief. Why do we make such a fuss over the little stuff? That's what I hope to answer in my humble little blog.

Where's the SNOW???

What did one snowman say to the other snowman?........

How the hell should I know...there hasn't been ANY snow for a snowman yet this year! This lack of winter is really starting to annoy me just slightly. It's 58 degrees right now.....FIFTY-FREAKIN-EIGHT! It's been in the 50's-60's all day today! What is wrong with this picture? IT'S JANUARY!

ok. Sorry about the tirade. As a matter of fact I watched this rather frightening thing on the second 'little ice age' that we could be facing in the next decade which could ultimately make us wind up like the Mayans or something like that. What a way to spend a Saturday.

On the upside, I used the beautiful weather today to get a few things done. Two of the most significant I think are getting my picture taken for my passport, and visiting the Salute! Wine shop in Winchester on the old town mall where I subsequently bought my first bottle of Proseco, and a bottle of my favorite Hope's Raspberry Merlot. I think I'll go sit out on my deck and enjoy some wine.....sure is warm enough!

By the way, is that snowman trying to cop a feel????

In an interesting turn of events, I watched the same "liitle ice age" program on the History Channel while on the elliptical machine at the gym. It was so interesting. I would prefer to not end up like the Mayans or like the poor Europeans who were endouring the Black Plague!

Scarey Stuff!
